NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BLACK ACCOUNTANTS (Detroit Chapter)

For the 5th year, we lead a networking etiquette session at the Mike Illitch School of Business at Wayne State University for The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.'s Detroit Chapter. This soft skills and unwritten rules workshop shared how perception and biases shape and often influence professional success. We covered the importance of a proper handshake, what it says about a person, the power of confident introductions, and the subtleties of perceived leadership mannerisms that will set them apart in just about any setting, be it personal professional, and or academic.
