Edwards Etiquette provides interactive, thought-provoking, and fun based social graces, dining protocols and traditional etiquette classes.
Based on the Emily Post philosophy, we have built a course of etiquette training that provides a time-tested basis for children, youth and young adults to make their way in the world.
This 6-week etiquette program equips children with the skills to navigate new and demanding social situations with ease and grace. From making great first impressions to mastering dining etiquette, small talk, and special event protocols, your child will gain the confidence to shine at parties, Junior Cotillion, bar mitzvahs, and more.
January 28: Etiquette and First Impressions
In the first week, we introduce children to the fundamentals of etiquette, self-awareness and the importance of making positive first impressions.
February 4: Small Talk and Conversation
This week's focus is on the art of small talk and conversational skills.
February 11: Social Dining Etiquette
The third week guides children through how use utensils properly, practice good table manners, and gain the skills to navigate formal dining settings with ease.
February 18: Party Etiquette 101
Covering modern social etiquette essentials: RSVP etiquette, managing changes with courtesy, and the importance of thank-you notes, this week ensures your child is socially prepared.
February 25: Hosting and Attending Social Events
This week is dedicated to preparing your child for hosting and attending social events or gatherings with confidence and composure.
March 4: Coming of Age and Special Events
In the final week, we focus on the new, demanding (and definitely upcoming) special events like spring dances, cotillion, prom and weddings.
Manners and grace are the keys to unlocking a world of endless possibilities for your children. Join any of our etiquette classes and embark on a journey of character-building, confidence, and poise. Our courses will equip your little ones to become young ambassadors of kindness, consideration, and charm.
All programs are centered around real-life experiences, exposing students to a variety of social situations including meet and greets, interviewing, theater outings, golf and country club experiences, and much more.
Our Fine Dining courses uncover the intricate world of table manners, engaging dinner conversations, and formal table settings with elegance and poise.
From mastering napkin, menu and pitted food etiquette to simply knowing and enjoying the difference between eating and dining, this course prepares children and young adults.
This course series for adults instills practical social, life and leadership skills while dispelling the notion that etiquette classes are old fashioned. Whether it's mastering dining protocol or honing your communication skills, even the smallest of changes with the way you are perceived and interact with people can significantly shift your confidence and influence.
This 3-part masterclass offers a real world approach to creating connections, building solid relationships, and polishing your personal brand while increasing your network and net worth. Business etiquette training provides crucial skills for professional interactions such as: appropriate business attire, self-introduction, and small talk techniques, along with appropriate body language and business meals are explained and by the end of the course mastered.
Edwards Etiquette is a member of the Michigan Afterschool Association.
All classes are taught by Victoria B. Edwards, a graduate of the Emily Post Institute with certifications by the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals and the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights.
